“Have you talked to him at all?” Natalie asks from her perch on the counter.
Derek freezes and gives her a shrug.
Natalie narrows her eyes at him. “Fine, if you refuse to talk to your soul mate I’ll do it for you!”
Derek turns away from the fridge, his eyes large. “If you breath a word to him, I’ll-“
“What, glare at me? Tell mom? She’ll just egg me on, and you know it!”
